As a non-profit organization, we depend on the efforts of volunteers and and your donations to keep doing our work. Your contributions make all of this possible. One-time donations of any amount are welcome. You might also want to consider monthly, quarterly or yearly donations to continually help us save Sammies. All donations are appreciated and do make a difference!. Thank you. Click here to Donate.
Samoyed Rescue of So Cal is looking for volunteers to foster dogs who come to us needing a little extra time and care before being adopted. Needs may include, but are not limited to, socialization, basic training (leash, housebreaking, etc) and care during medical rehabilitation.
Generally, foster care will not include a healthy, well-behaved, cute, fuzzy puppy. SRSC has an extensive waitlist and can quickly find a good forever home for a readily adoptable dog.
Fostering provides a temporary home for the dogs that are not readily adoptable. If you can take care of one of our transitional dogs for a few weeks or a even a few days, you can help save a life! We’ll pay all expenses… food… vet care… you just provide a loving environment and help ready the dog for adoption while we find the right “forever” home.
To join our foster team, please complete our form and check “Foster”. Foster Form
