Meet Bowser! He is a total cutie pie and is incredibly sweet. He just needs some basic training. So far with us he did incredibly well at the groomers and with our vet. He does well in the car. Volunteers that have taken him out say he’s very sweet, takes treats easily, and is calm when other dogs were around. When he was in the shelter he was kenneled with other dogs and had no problems. He’s a strong guy, and he becomes extra determined about his strength when he sees squirrels. He needs some training in this department but honestly so do most dogs!

He is chipped, vaccinated, and recently neutered.

Bowser is a young guy who has lots of energy and loves to play. He gets along well with dogs with supervision but is still learning how to share toys. He loves tennis balls and stuffies. He walks well on leash but he does have some bouts of pulling. After a walk or run he likes to relax, and he LOVES snuggles. He’s cuddly and could be pet forever.

Bowser has likely never had any training in his life. When he came to us he didn’t even know sit. After just a few days in his foster home, he has learned to sit, even while excited and waiting for food!
